NYX Game Awards, in partnership with the International Awards Associate (IAA), has unveiled the Season 1 winners for 2023. This award celebrates and honors creative excellence in the video game industry and winners are chosen by a panel of more than 200 expert judges.
After careful consideration and meticulous evaluation, the outstanding titles that made it to the top of the list have been announced, setting new standards for excellence in the world of gaming. This prestigious award is open to all game developers, advertisers, marketers, and enthusiasts who embody the creative ethos of the industry. There are three different levels of excellence for the awards – Silver, Gold, and Grand – for each of the 22 different categories in the NYX Game Awards.
FunPlus was delighted to win three different awards:
- King of Avalon: Orlando the Nightshard – Grand Winner as the Best Game Advertising Campaign
- King of Avalon: Orlando the Nightshard – Grand Winner as the Best Game Video – Trailer
- State of Survival – Grand Winner as the Best PC Game – Multiplayer
King of Avalon won thanks to the collaboration between FunPlus and Orlando Bloom. The Hollywood star arrived in King of Avalon with a blockbuster storyline, enjoyed by more than 4 million players during the summer of 2022, and is now part of the lore of this fantastic medieval strategy game as part of the biggest update of King of Avalon to date, “Frost & Flame.”
State of Survival received the award for Best Multiplayer PC Game, highlighting the outstanding job of FunPlus’ KingsGroup studio development teams when porting their iconic apocalyptic strategy game to PC, which was launched in September 2022.

In total, there were more than 75K entries from 108 different countries fighting to be selected as winners. PC, Mobile, and console games have their own focus, alongside Game Creativity with several different categories and awards.
