Aniimo Surpasses 15 Million Players Worldwide as First Major Update Arrives with Season 1 Part 2

Aniimo’s first major update brings 51 new Aniimo, a new map, and Halloween events

Pawprint Studio today announced that free-to-play, creature-catching open-world RPG Aniimo has surpassed 15 million players since its global launch on September 16. The milestone arrives alongside Aniimo’s first major content update, Season 1 Part 2: Departure with the Wind, which begins today and runs through December 9, 2026.

Players can dive into brand new content now, including:

New Map and Storylines:

• Whisperwake Isles: Four new areas, Crescent Bay, Rosy Mirelands, Wildwater Gorge, and Cloudreach Falls, are opening their shores to exploration!
• Discover new environments and unique ecosystems, uncover fresh secrets, and embark on exciting adventures across these uncharted lands.

New Aniimo:

• The collection expands with 51 new Aniimo, 32 of which are brand new Aniimo species, along with 13 new special forms, 19 evolutions, 9 variations, and 10 new Prismana Aniimo.
• These include:
  • New Aniimo Bubbeep, Saws, Prawnch and Sugarfish
  • Exclusive Aniimo from the Whisperwake Isles ecosystem include Prismana Gachapus, Prismana Whirlbite, Prismana Sugartini, Prismana Jabster, Prismana Royalby, and Prismana Glameep.
  • The very first community-created Aniimo, Jaguaraun, created as part of the first Aniimo Co-Dev Contest.
  • Season-exclusive Prismana Aniimo include the first cat-like Aniimo Hypnyto, available via the Companion Handbook, and Ekrim, obtained via Seasonal Achievements.

Events:

• A Spooktacular Halloween Adventure! Pathfinders can celebrate Halloween with the Night Parade and Magical Night events, new activities, fresh challenges, and plenty of rewards.
• The Home system will launch a new Halloween-themed season, featuring seasonal home layouts and recipes
• Players are also invited to try the new PvP feature Friendly Sparring, which allows Pathfinders to challenge each other to 1v1 Duels and showcase their battle skills.

Customization:

• Fresh themed outfits and weekly fashion releases will allow Pathfinders to enjoy new aesthetics and fresh cosmetics.
