” Cradle of the Gods takes place in the same universe as Sea of Conquest, a pirate war game.

We follow the journey of three childhood friends: Lavender, Cecily, and Henry Hell. They navigate the Devil Seas and going to go and have a lot of great adventures.

We collaborate very closely with the game team. We wanted to make sure that the work of the game team was really respected. So a lot of back and forth around the character backstory, the location, or even the design of the ships. It’s something that we really call attention to. We wanted to make sure that the fans of the game felt like it was really taking place in the same universe, and with an expansion of their experience in a game they can do in the comic.

So the events of the comics are directly connected to the story of the game. It is its own story, with its own characters. But the fans will discover some characters of the game will be in a comic, some locations, but also some new events, new characters, and new locations. The comic is a great way for players to enjoy more of the universe of the Sea of Conquest. So on our side, we took the opportunity to expand the lore the characters, and the mythology of the Sea of Conquest universe.”

Cradle of the Gods embarks on an epic adventure through treacherous seas and uncharted waters. Readers will follow the perilous journey of three childhood friends—Lavender, Cecily, and the infamous pirate Henry Hell—as they navigate the dangerous Devil Seas.

Along the way, they will clash with rival pirates, encounter mysterious forces, and battle the dark magic of the Ancient Order. With friendship, loyalty, and ambition tested at every turn, this 10-issue series promises to bring fans closer to the intricate, dangerous world of Sea of Conquest.
