Three games, three milestones, one unforgettable month for the FunPlus community

King of Avalon turns 10, Guns of Glory turns 9 & Stormshot turns 4!

 

Hello everyone, and welcome back to our Spotlight – Insider Info series!

September was a month worth celebrating. Across the FunPlus portfolio, three games reached major anniversary milestones:

  • King of Avalon
  • Guns of Glory
  • Stormshot.

Each team marked the occasion with its own special event, making this one a very special month of celebrations here at FunPlus!

King of Avalon Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary

King of Avalon turned 10 years old in September! Over the past decade, the game has welcomed more than 500 million players worldwide, building one of the most loyal communities in mobile strategy gaming.

To mark the milestone, King of Avalon’s anniversary event introduced a first for the game. Merlin, a character long known to players as an NPC within the game’s lore, officially became playable. After ten years of storytelling, giving players direct control of one of the world’s most iconic figures made for a memorable way to celebrate.

Ten years, over 500 million players, countless battles later, the best is still to come

Guns of Glory Celebrates Its 9th Anniversary

Guns of Glory turned 9 years old in September. To celebrate, the game hosted a special crossover event with KOF XV (The King of Fighters XV), welcoming the iconic character Mai Shiranui to the battlefield.

The event combined Guns of Glory’s signature strategy gameplay with one of fighting games’ most recognizable characters, giving players a fresh way to celebrate nine years of glory.

Stormshot Celebrates Its 4th Anniversary

Last but definitely not least, Stormshot turned 4 years old in September!

The game marked the occasion with its own KOF XV crossover event, also featuring Mai Shiranui in a special limited-time in-game experience.

Four years into its journey, Stormshot continues to grow, bringing new content and new energy to its community with every milestone!
