The 2023 theme for the GGJ is the preservation of WILDLIFE in three different environments: The Himalayas, the Amazon, and the Western Indian Ocean. 

The brief: Add a feature in one of the games to incorporate environmental themes your players can rally around.

Its goals are:

  • To rally the industry to reduce its carbon footprint.
  • Activate gamers to take climate action.
  • To share learnings so others in the industry can follow.
  • Empower your players to change their world through the games they know and love.

THE APOCALYPSE IS ALREADY HAPPENING TO ANIMALS.

We decided to explore the subject of the apocalypse but from a different perspective.  Our activation consists of a website that will show a full-of-life Amazon environment in which, as time goes by, the deforestation and destruction of the Amazon starts to happen at an accelerated pace.
