Today, we would like you to meet Elena Sanz, Junior Community Manager for Foundation: Galactic Frontier.
She joined FunPlus as an intern, carrying a dream of working in the video game industry, and she is now a full-time Junior Community Manager, connecting players with the worlds we build.

For Elena, joining FunPlus was the realization of something she’d wanted for years:
“For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of joining the video game industry. This internship felt like the perfect launchpad for my career,” Elena recalls. From the very beginning, she brought that sense of purpose into everything she did, ready to learn and eager to contribute.
Her curiosity and initiative helped her grow quickly into the role, and eventually into a full-time position as Junior Community Manager for Foundation: Galactic Frontier.
As Elena settled into her role, she quickly realized her contributions were more than just tasks on a list, but they were shaping how the team moved forward.
“As I began contributing to projects, I discovered that my ideas could shape the team’s direction. That realization made me feel like I was making a real impact,” Elena shares.
And that’s the heart of community management: real conversations that turn player feedback into real decisions. But growth rarely comes without a challenge. For Elena, it was learning to balance two demanding worlds at once.
“Juggling my studies and a new job was my toughest hurdle when I first joined the company. As a student stepping into greater responsibilities, the stress was real, but I found a way through.”
We asked Elena what it felt like the moment she was offered a full-time position, and this is what she said:
“I felt so thrilled when I realized that all the effort I had put into the past months was truly seen and valued. That recognition fueled me to push myself even further”
For Elena, that was proof that her ideas, her voice, and her persistence had genuinely mattered to the team and the community she was helping to build.
“Play lots of games! After all, exploring games is what we do best. Stay curious, ask questions, and soak up from those around you.”

“Why are you in such a hurry? Take your time, enjoy the journey, and treat yourself to a bubble tea along the way.”
