Let’s start with Lise’s Fun Facts!

To kick things off, we asked Lise to share something about herself that even her closest teammates might not know. Here are her answers:

A fun fact your teammates might not know about you

“I bought my first game console when I was 9 years old, even though my parents weren’t very enthusiastic about it.

I earned the money by being an extra in a French movie.” (Her scene was cut from the final film!)

First video game you ever loved

“Discworld II.

It’s beautiful, hilarious, and brilliantly written. It makes you understand the logic of the illogical! To me, it’s one of the greatest classic point-and-clicks, together with the Monkey Island series.”

Best part of your role is…

Now leading the Community and Social Media team, we asked Lise what she loves most about her role. Her answer was immediate:

“Seeing the people on my team grow and succeed!

I also love how multidisciplinary this role is. We get to do a bit of everything: marketing, event management, UX, customer support, social media, CRM, creator management, and more.”

Who inspires her most at work?

“Honestly, a lot of people. I admire the optimistic colleagues who always find the bright side of challenging situations, the passionate ones who genuinely love what they do, the creative minds, and the new joiners who bring fresh perspectives.”

If Lise could live in one FunPlus Game World, which would it be?

Given how closely her role connects her to every FunPlus title, we couldn’t resist asking which game world she’d want to live in, if she had the choice.

“Right now, I would choose Aniimo’s world by Pawprint Studio: Idyll!”

Coffee, tea or energy drink?

“Coffee, with a little bit of oat milk… and a croissant!”

3 things  she keeps close by at her desk

“My PC, a French keyboard, and a little plastic squirrel that a former great teammate gave me for my birthday.”

Favorite FunPlus memory

Beyond the day-to-day, we wanted to know what has stayed with Lise the most since joining FunPlus. For her, one experience stands out above the rest: traveling to Beijing for work.

“Being able to travel to Beijing for work was an unforgettable experience. Discovering a completely different culture (from the food and incredible places) was something I probably would never have experienced without FunPlus.”

The best career advice she’s ever received

“When an opportunity comes your way, don’t focus on what could go wrong. Instead, focus on the exciting things you could achieve.”
