FunPlus renews official Mentoring Partnership with GameBCN

 

We are delighted to announce the renewal of our successful Mentoring Partnership with GameBCN, a leading video game incubation program in Barcelona. 

This year, GameBCN celebrates a significant milestone: its 10th anniversary! It marks a decade of GameBCN’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of video game talent, and we at FunPlus are honored and proud to continue our support as an official Mentoring Partner.

The renewal of our partnership this year is particularly special as GameBCN embarks on an ambitious journey: to incubate a total of 10 teams. We are thrilled to bring our industry veterans and experts from various fields to the table, offering guidance, insight, and support to these emerging talents. Our collaboration with GameBCN underscores our dedication not just to the global gaming industry but also to making a meaningful impact on the local scene in Barcelona.

FunPlus and GameBCN, Mentoring Partnership

Last year, our collaboration with GameBCN set a solid groundwork for innovation, creativity, and growth. We recognised the strides and progress made by the teams incubated, directly seeing how effective mentorship can be. We got a real sense of what these teams could do at their DemoDay 9th edition event, showcasing the tangible results of their hard work. Now, as GameBCN hits its 10-year milestone, we’re gearing up for another round of solid mentorship, backing this year’s teams with the support they need to achieve their goals. This includes artwork, creative direction support and guidance from our talented artists, insightful business mentorship sessions, and ‘Publishing Pitch Simulation’ sessions.

We’re looking forward to the 10th edition of DemoDay, ready to see the tangible results of this year’s efforts.
