HI THERE! CAN YOU INTRODUCE YOURSELF AND TELL US WHAT YOU DO AT FUNPLUS?
Hi, I’m Milo, and I am the Director of Creative Services at FunPlus, Barcelona.
WHY AND WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR JOB?
I do my job because I love, you know, helping people to achieve their goals. Support them in living their own careers. And, you know, I do my job because it makes me feel alive.
MILO, PLEASE TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR PROFESSIONAL CAREER!
My career was a bit of a roller coaster. I went from college lecturer to a 3D artist going through head of product until, you know, I became a CEO of my own companies. Now I fulfilled my long life dream, which was working in a video game company. As a Director of Creative Services, I take on a position where serving my team and my company is mandatory.
WHICH ONES ARE SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF A DIRECTOR OF CREATIVE SERVICES?
Some of my responsibilities as a Director of Creative Services are managing a group of artists and making sure that they perform at their best to create assets for the rest of the company. And managing outsourcing companies as well as supporting all the games FunPLUS is producing right now, providing world-class assets such as videos, static images, or playable ads. To do so, I have to collaborate with the rest of the team at FunPlus.
CAN YOU DESCRIBE FUNPLUS WITH 3 WORDS?
So my working day at FunPlus is energetic, social, and very, very creative.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST, SHARE WITH US SOME TIPS FOR FUTURE EMPLOYEES. WHAT ARE THE KEYS TO SUCCESS AS A CANDIDATE INTERVIEWING FOR A JOB AT FUNPLUS?
The most important thing for me when interviewing a new candidate is not only to evaluate their hard skills, but how they will fit with the team personally, and energy-wise.
