Meet Fio, 2D Artist at FunPlus

Welcome, Fio. It’s a pleasure to have you with us. Thank you so much for joining us today. Could you kick things off by introducing yourself and your role at FunPlus?

My name is Fio. I’m a 2D Artist at FunPlus.

PLEASE TELL US A BIT MORE ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY. HOW DID YOU END UP HERE? WHAT’S YOUR STORY?

I’m an architect, actually. The thing is, the part of my job that I enjoyed more was painting the plants, or retouching the renders in Photoshop.

So I decided to study illustration and more graphic design, and I started working as a graphic designer and illustrator. And then there was something missing, and that is that I always loved the video game industry. So I continued studying and, working hard, here I am.

Amazing! THAT’S QUITE A JOURNEY, FIO! And tell us, what do you do as a 2D artist here at FunPlus?

As a 2D Artist at FunPlus, with my team, we create content, especially for the community of our players. So we create videos, posts, comics.

Your passion for drawing, painting, and storytelling shines through in your work. WHAT MAKES YOU LOVE YOUR JOB?

I do my job because I love to draw, paint, and create content, and somehow just tell a story… and I love telling stories.

Now, in your own words, can you tell us how you would describe FunPlus?

I will describe FunPlus as an excellent work environment, a very supportive team, and great games.

Amazing! And last but definitely not least, one of our signature questions… What does ‘fun’ mean to you?

Fun to me means when you enjoy doing something so much that you forget about the time. It’s just like being spontaneous about something.
